I have a web application on Office-A that should be made available to the users at Office-B. There cannot be a tunnel between Office-B and Office-A for some internal regulations. The only issue i have is this spatial table stuff. I think i understand what a spatial data is now but i just need an example of how to go about cross referencing my states table with its spatial data. so i have a table with Vendor names, states they perform work in, type of work they do etc. States listed e.g (Florida, Montana, Puerto Rico, all 50 states) what is going to be their spatial reference. Or can i just add a Long and Lat to the table to reference the states. Until now, spam was hardly an issue for me. I'm not talking about the newsletters, nor am I addressing mail from vendors who follow-up when I download a white paper. What's coming in now is stuff along the lines of pharmaceuticals and sex. Is TR paying close attention to their "affiliates"? Do these "affiliates" resell our information? Maybe it's just a coincidence that new sources of spam happened to find me close to the same time that I joined TR (about one week.) TR seems to have some good resources and a solid community.
