Connecting two subnets with a Netgear FVS338 and a WGT624 v2 Routers
Hello People, if someone could get back to me ASAP I would really appreciate it.
I have a Netgear Fvs338 and a Netgear WGT624 v2. Also a Netgear switch GS608,
If I need it.

What I?m trying to do is have a Class C Network broken out to two subnets connected together using said equipment above. Each Network has its own 2k3 server dchp and dns
Services running I would like them to be able to communicate between the too.

I know something of Sub netting so that?s really not the problem, but just to be sure.

A Class C network divided into two subnets Would look like this Network IDs 192.168.1.0 and 192.168.1.128. With broadcast address of 192.168.1.127 and 192.168.1.255 respectfully. Host addresses ranges for the first network would be 192.168.1.1 TO 192.168.1.126 and the second 192.168.1.129 TO 192.168.1.254.

Now the really Problem is, setting up the routers I used the example in the manuals but I get an error when I try to activate the static route on the Fvs338. So I really stuck here. How would one, do this?

P.S. My FVS338 router is also connected to the internet where will provide Internet access for both subnets.
