A reseller's opinion
I found the article curious for making several statements identifying the good work done integrating the developer and designer tools, only to then criticise the company for not listening. I agree the market is ho-hum about MX. CF users like it & praise the many improvements, but MX has failed to generate new users. Of course the market's not buying new tools much anyway. The challenge for Macromedia is to convince the serious OO & Java developers that MX is better, when it still looks likea proprietary code base.

If there's one mistake they made with MX, it's a marketing blunder. Where is CF Studio? A great developer tool, now homogenised into DW. Dumbing down CF?
