"You work in IT? Really?"

I really hate admitting my career. It's almost always "Oh, I bet you saw the new Star Trek flick!" or "You don't seem like an arrogant jerk like our IT guys?"

Either slacks, long sleeve shirts and a tie or slacks and a polo. I hate short sleeve shirts worn with a tie, because it just looks geekish to me. I don't wear khakis, well because everyone's body looks a little strange in khakis. Slacks are lighter, more comfortable and fit your body better.

Away from work if I actually have on shoes, its flip flops. Possibly shorts, gym clothes, swim trunks and a tank top, t-shirt or worn of those new style polos that look worn out when you buy them. Basically I look like a bum, albeit a neat, clean bum. If I have shoes and jeans on, it's because I either have a date or it is cold out.
