Images: Google Street View captures moments in time

It turns out entertainment venues marquees offer Google View sleuths some of the best hints for determining the approximate date of a Street View photograph. This sign outside San Francisco's Boom Boom Room advertises The One-Off Funk Drop playing on the following Thursday, and thanks to this site, we know the date of the concert was January 25, 2007. Because the marquee also advertises shows Friday, Saturday and Tuesday, we know the photograph was taken on either Wednesday, January 24 or Thursday, January 25, 2007.
