Seinfeld-Shoe store

Microsoft's latest advertising campaign kicked off two weeks ago with video spots featuring Bill Gates and comedian Jerry Seinfeld and using quirky self-deprecating humor in an attempt to show how Windows connects with everyday people.

The campaign--part of an estimated $300 million, multi-year push developed by edgy ad shop Crispin, Porter and Bogusky--has since shifted its focus into more directly targeting the long-running Apple ads that turned Windows into a punch line.

Shown is a still from the first ad, featuring Gates and Seinfeld in a mall shoe store. Seinfeld shares a tip on breaking in the tight-fitting shoes--he wears them in the shower.
